Doggie Memorial

This page is dedicated to the wonderful dogs who were so loved by there families but have crossed the rainbow bridge. We want to remember these great dogs and all they brought to their families. The mischief, energy, vitality, understanding, and unconditional love. They are gone but will never be forgotten.

To have your Puggle listed on our memorial, please email a picture and brief statement to info@saintspugglerescue.org.

A Pet's Loss

In your heart, you probably realize that in time the sadness you are feeling will fade.
For now, just know that it's all right to hurt...
I hurt with you.
It's all right to cry...
I share your tears.
It is only through crying that you learn what it's really like to laugh...
only after feeling sadness can you really experience joy.
So allow yourself to feel what comes natural...
but know that someday life will be better...
it will be easier to smile.

- Renee Duvall

"Saint Gagne" 9/11/06 - 1/5/07
This is Saint; the Puggle who inspired me to start this rescue.

As I walked past the Pet Store I saw him in the hands of a worker. His little face drew me in. I asked to hold him and as soon as he was in my arms - the bond was made. He went home with me that night. I hadn't had Saint for long before his passing, but while we were together he provided me with such love, affection and happiness.

Each night he would curl up under my chin and sleep and if I rolled over he would climb over me and curl up again. Everywhere I went, he went - even on the plane home for Christmas! I miss that and I miss him very much. Our bond is the driving force of this rescue. One day, we will again be reunited, but until then: I love and miss you little man!
"Murphy Lowery"
Murphy left us in April 2006.

He was only with his family the Lowery's for a short time but the stories his mom, Mitzi, shared with me expressed the impact he had on their family. He was loved and is greatly missed. They have some wonderful memories of him that they can cherish always. We send our heartfelt sympathy to the Lowery's.
